Man found shot in Baton Rouge home, police say

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana (BRPROUD) – Baton Rouge police are investigating after a man was found dead in a home Thursday morning.

A large police presence was seen in the 2200 block of Pocahontas Street. Police said a man was found in an abandoned house, but they did not know how long he had been there.

According to BRPD, his death was due to gunshot wounds. Police currently have no motive or suspect.
