CCSO: Murray couple arrested on drug charges with over $20,000 in cash |

MURRAY, Kentucky – A Murray couple was arrested Tuesday with more than $20,000 in cash, suspected of being from illegal drug trafficking, the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office reported Tuesday.

A press release from the sheriff’s office stated that drug squads from Calloway and Marshall counties arrested Andre V. Chism and Rebecca S. Holmes around 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, in connection with a drug investigation at a home on Arbor Creek Drive in Murray. Investigators allegedly found 30 grams of crystal meth, 18.5 grams of cocaine and crack, 14.9 grams of marijuana and cash inside the home.

The press release states Chism’s criminal history includes convictions for trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine. Both suspects are free on bail following an arrest on drug trafficking charges resulting from an October 2023 investigation in Marshall County. Chism was on probation at the time of his arrest.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the arrests.
