Sued for sexual harassment: Kanye West sues former assistant

JAKARTA – Kanye West was sued by his former assistant for sexual harassment and poor working conditions. Now the rapper has responded and accused his former assistant of extortion.

Lauren Pisciotta, Kanye West’s former personal assistant, filed a lawsuit against West this week alleging sexual harassment, including explicit messages, pornographic photos, and photos and videos with sexual undertones.

“He is seeking compensation for his time as an employee and a breach of contract,” said representative Lauren Pisciotta.

At PEOPLE’s publication, Kanye West’s representative accused Lauren of baseless allegations and demanded $50 million in her lawsuit. However, the court did not consider whether West filed the lawsuit legally or not.

“Such conduct is entirely inconsistent with that of an individual who claims to have been sexually harassed or experienced an unfriendly work environment,” West representatives wrote.

“It is clear that Pisciotta is exploiting his relationship with Ye and his company, as well as his proximity to Ye, to inappropriately obtain material gain, influence and employment,” her class says.

Representatives for West also claimed that Pisciotta stole West’s cellphone to destroy recorded evidence. They said Pisciotta used sexual coercion to obtain money or material items such as cars, plastic surgery or designer bags.

In his report, Pisciotta explained that he was recruited by Kanye West in July 2021 to work on his Yeezy brand and collaborated on the Donda album. He was hired as a personal assistant and was on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

A year after being hired, West told Pisciotta, who still works as an OnlyFans model, to delete his account to focus on his work and promised him a raise. After his account was closed, Pisciotta began receiving vulgar messages with photos and videos of Kanye West.

He also said that Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband was lenient in conversations with him and asked him to open his cardigan in the office because he was too reserved.

Lauren Pisciotta also sued Kanye West and the Yeezy company for fraud, unpaid wages and emotional distress.

It is not yet known whether Kanye West will take legal action against his former assistant.
