Rapper Tommie Lee arrested outside Club LIV in Miami Beach

MIAMI BEACH, Florida. – A reality TV star and rap artist was arrested outside a Miami Beach nightclub early Monday morning.

Police arrested 39-year-old Atasha Chizaah Jefferson, better known as Tommie Lee, around 2:20 a.m. outside Club LIV, 4441 Collins Ave.

According to police, when officers arrived, they found Jefferson being held by the victim of the incident with his arms behind his back.

According to a police report, the victim told police that Jefferson, whom he did not know, suddenly came “very close” to him and tried to put something in his hand.

According to police, the victim did not take the object and tried to ignore Jefferson, who allegedly became angry and punched the victim in the face.

According to an arrest warrant, after this physical contact, the victim grabbed Jefferson’s arms and held her behind her back until police arrived.

Police said that during their investigation they reviewed surveillance footage of the incident that confirmed the victim’s account.

Jefferson, who previously appeared on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” was arrested for assault and taken to jail without incident.
