5 biggest storylines for the Buffalo Bills entering next minicamp

Although minicamp is mandatory, that hasn’t stopped players from skipping in the past, most often due to a contract issue. According to Sal Capaccio of WGR550, Rasul Douglas is the only player who was not seen during training sessions open to the media.

The Bills traded for Douglas during last season and he quickly stepped in as the starter for this defense. He made a big impact in this secondary and had six turnovers in nine games.

For this season, the Bills will once again need Rasul Douglas to start again and probably face Christian Benford. However, he is also entering the final year of his contract and while nothing has been reported about his outfit, it is worth noting that he was the only player yet to practice with the team this offseason .

If Douglas isn’t here this week, it will be a great opportunity for Kaiir Elam to show that he has improved and can step in if necessary. That question should be answered very early in the week when Sean McDermott is scheduled to meet with the media before the first practice.
