Faringdon man pleads not guilty to rape of woman last year

Josh Rosum, 20, of Patricks Orchard, Uffington, appeared at Oxford Crown Court on Thursday (June 6) charged with the rape of a woman aged 16 or over.

It is alleged that the incident occurred in Faringdon on June 10 last year.

Rosum is accused of raping a woman without her consent or without him being able to reasonably believe that she consented.

Rosum, wearing a black suit and blue tie, pleaded not guilty in the dock.

His trial date has now been set for June 30 next year before the same court, with an estimated duration of four days.
