Street in downtown Concord closed due to police investigation

CONCORD, NC (NEWS FROM QUEEN CITY) – According to Concord police, a road in northwest Concord is closed due to an ongoing police investigation.

McGill Avenue NW is closed between St. James Street NW and Ivey Street NW. Motorists are asked to avoid the area.

The police did not disclose the reason for the investigation.
