Woman dead after shooting in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) – Police are investigating a shooting that left a woman dead shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Friday, May 31.

In response to the shooting, authorities moved to the 1600 block of Bellwood Road.

When they arrived, they discovered a woman who had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating the incident as a homicide; there are currently no identified suspects.
