Man arrested after Cape Canaveral fire accident for allegedly stabbing 4 girls in Braintree and 2 others in Plymouth – Boston 25 News

BRAINTREE, Massachusetts – The man arrested after leading police on a chase to Cape Cod was wanted for allegedly stabbing four young girls to death at a McDonald’s in Braintree and two more at a McDonald’s in Plymouth on Saturday.

At around 6 p.m., a man entered the AMC Braintree 10, walked past the ticket counter and entered one of the theaters, according to Braintree police. Inside the theater, he stabbed and attacked four young girls, ages 9 to 17, “without saying anything and without warning,” police said.

According to police, the suspect raced out of the cinema after the attack and sped away in a black SUV.

First responders arrived on scene and took the four young girls to a Boston hospital for treatment of their non-life-threatening injuries.

“They looked like they had just seen a horror movie, not a children’s movie,” said Mateo Rojas, a moviegoer. “They said one of the girls screamed ‘Help, I’ve been stabbed’ and the children came out completely shocked.”

Braintree Police Patrol Officers and Detectives quickly reviewed the video footage and were able to determine that the suspect and the black SUV were no longer in the area. Police were able to obtain the suspect’s license plate number and other law enforcement agencies were notified.

According to Braintree police, a vehicle matching the description was allegedly involved in a similar robbery in Plymouth. Massachusetts State Police said they were called to the McDonald’s at Route 3 Park and Ride just after 7 p.m. after a 21-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man were stabbed. Both were taken to local hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Following the reported incident in Plymouth, Massachusetts State Police began pursuing the vehicle before it crashed in Sandwich.

Photos obtained by Boston 25 News show the suspected SUV blackened and charred on Cotuit Road in Sandwich after it caught fire following the crash.

The driver was arrested after the accident.

Braintree Police say more information will be released at a later date.

State police say the investigation is currently ongoing.

This is a developing story. Check back later for updates as more information becomes available.
