Six people have died and 10 others have been injured in a car accident involving a pickup truck on an Idaho highway.

The pickup truck was a Ram, while the passenger van was a Chevrolet vehicle, according to a police statement.

Images from the scene shared by East Idaho News show the van tipped on its side, the back doors burst open and other obvious damage that appeared to be a result of the accident. Other photos shared by local network KIFI show the smashed front of the van with a shattered windshield.

The truck appeared to be several meters away from the van and its windshield was also shattered and the hood was dented. In the outlet’s photos, debris could be seen scattered throughout the crime scene.

The crash came just a week after a May 11 accident in Pasadena, California, that killed three people after a Tesla with six people on board ran a red light, then hit a curb and crashed into a utility pole , as there were several reports at the time.

According to reports, the driver of the vehicle and two passengers died while three people were thrown from the car. CBS News said police determined the 22-year-old driver was driving at least twice the speed limit of 35 miles per hour. The Los Angeles Times added that all six people involved in the accident were between 17 and 22 years old and that the Tesla Model 3 was traveling west on Foothill Boulevard before hitting an unoccupied building.

“It’s a very tragic accident every day, but especially on Mother’s Day weekend, senior season and prom season, there are so many reasons to celebrate, so many families will be grieving. “It’s especially hard on our first responders to see the devastation and lives lost,” said Pasadena City Spokesperson Lisa Derderian told PEOPLE about the crash.
