The AAP government is not doing any work, so I believe the BJP-led Union government can help in the development of the area if elected to power again. Therefore, I raised issues regarding the area before him (BJP candidate).”

“I had called for more funding for the development of border villages and a relaxation of agricultural norms for those who have land beyond the barbed wire. ROBs in Abohar, funds for infrastructure development. agricultural industry and many more. So I believe that the BJP candidate, if voted to power, can help solve these problems.”

Festive offer

Sandeep visited villages and sought support for the BJP candidate. Sandeep defeated AAP’s Deep Kamboj in Abohar Assembly constituency by over 5,000 votes in the 2022 assembly elections despite the so-called AAP wave in the state.

Meanwhile, Sodhi assured voters that he would raise their concerns in Parliament as sitting Ferozepur MP Sukhbir Singh Badal “has done nothing for the region in the last five years”.
