Restaurant employee urinated on food, rubbed genitals with consumables; arrested: report

A worker at an upscale steakhouse in Kansas was arrested after admitting to police officers that he urinated on foods like pickles and even rubbed his genitals on salmon intended to be served to guests.

The worker in question, Kansas City native Jace Christian Hanson, has been charged with a felony by the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office Kansas City Star.

The publication quoted police as saying Hanson’s killing spree lasted from March 26 to April 25.

The restaurant released a statement, which the publication was able to access after becoming aware of this issue. It said: “We have been encouraged by the messages of support we have received from the community regarding food tampering in our restaurant.” “This is a worrying situation for our customers and for all of us associated with the restaurant. “

Hanson’s misconduct first came to light when the Federal Bureau of Investigations received a tip and contacted Leawood police.

After his arrest, Hanson told police that he had been incited to commit such acts by men he met on dating apps and fetish sites.

He admitted the crimes and said guests had been served contaminated food more than 20 times.

The FBI provided detectives with images from a video hosting site where a user named “Vandalizer” had posted content showing a man “urinating in food contained in restaurant-style trash cans, and presses food against his penis and buttocks”. , and they use their feet to touch food,” investigators said in an affidavit New York Post.

About 140 people contacted police after this incident came to light.

Hanson is scheduled to appear in court again on June 6.
