Motorcyclist, 60, killed in multi-vehicle crash in Hounslow

A motorcyclist has died in a multi-vehicle collision in Hounslow.

Police, paramedics and an ambulance were called to Staines Road at the junction with Martindale Road just before 1am on Sunday.

They were called to reports of “a collision between a motorcyclist and multiple vehicles”, the Met said.

Paramedics treated the 60-year-old motorcyclist but despite “extensive” efforts he was found dead at the scene.

The man’s next of kin had been informed, the police said, and were being looked after by specially trained officers.

All drivers stopped at the scene and no arrests were made.

On Sunday evening, police urged anyone who witnessed the crash or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are asking anyone who can help with information or dash footage to call 101 or @MetCC Ref CAD 3440/12. To be sent in May.
