SILVER Alert activated for missing West Seattle woman

SEATTLELocal law enforcement has activated a SILVER Alert for a woman with dementia who went missing in the West Seattle area.

Seattle police and the Washington State Patrol are searching for 79-year-old Jonette Barron, who was last seen at 10:40 a.m. Saturday near the Jefferson Square mall on 42nd Ave. SW and SW Alaska Street was seen.

Barron is white, 1.75 meters tall, weighs 65 kilograms, has brown/gray hair and brown eyes. Police say she has a thin build and it is unknown what clothing she is wearing.

Barron also does not have access to a vehicle.
