Teen arrested after tipping over porta potty with wife and their 4-year-old daughter: police

An 18-year-old teenager allegedly tipped over a portable toilet while a young mother and her 4-year-old daughter were inside on Wednesday, May 8, in Manchester, New Hampshire, police said.

Aiden Studer was using the potty at Derryfield Park after getting into an argument with his mother, the Manchester Police Department said in a news release. He was subsequently arrested and charged with criminal oppression, criminal assault and simple assault on a police officer.

After the argument, the mother went into the portable toilet to help her daughter. Then Studer allegedly knocked it over from behind while they were still inside, witnesses told investigators, police said.

Then the potty landed on the door, trapping mother and daughter. The two were uninjured but were covered in bodily fluids and feces.

The pair were rescued by bystanders from Derryfield Park who had knocked over the toilet bowl. When officers arrived on scene, Studer is said to have thrown something at a registration officer.

Manchester police report that Studer did not know the mother and daughter.
