Minor kidnapped and gang-raped by seven people in Lucknow

(MENAFN-IANS) Lucknow, May 7 (IANS) A minor girl was allegedly taken hostage and raped by seven people in the Uttar Pradesh capital.

On the application of the victim’s mother, an FIR was registered against five named and two unnamed persons on Tuesday.

According to reports, the 16-year-old girl was kidnapped by the accused on May 3. She was forced to drink drugs and held hostage in a garage for two days, during which she was repeatedly raped.

The accused named in the FIR include Himanshu, Sahil, Sameer, Wahid, Anil and two unnamed persons.

The garage where the minor was kept belongs to one Sadan Lala of Thakurganj.

The police spokesperson said a team has been formed to arrest the accused and the victim has been sent for medical examination.
