Man found dead after stabbing in Woodland Hills neighborhood in San Fernando Valley, LAPD says

WOODLAND HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A man was found dead after being stabbed in the Woodland Hills neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley on Tuesday morning, authorities said.

The incident was reported at 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of Winnetka Avenue and Oxnard Street, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman said.

The victim, who was only 40 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene. It was not immediately known whether his death was a murder, police said.

The southbound lanes of Winnetka Avenue were closed during the investigation.
