Coweta County police officer dies after apparent heart attack – WSB-TV Channel 2

GRANTVILLE, Georgia – A police officer died Sunday afternoon of an apparent heart attack.

Grantville police said Corporal Kevin Enfinger was on his way home from a patrol shift around 5:30 p.m. when he apparently suffered a heart attack.

Enfinger was found on the median of a road and someone passing by began CPR.

Enfinger was taken to Newnan Piedmont Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

He worked in the department for about four years.

The department asked for prayers for Enfinger’s family.

Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.
