15-year-old claims to have been sexually abused by relatives in Ileia

Police are investigating the statements of a 15-year-old girl from Ilia in the Peloponnese who claims to have been repeatedly raped by a 29-year-old relative.

According to state broadcaster ERT, the girl was accompanied by her parents when she gave her statement to the police. She said that the 29-year-old had threatened her to prevent her from speaking.

The suspect is said to have committed similar crimes before and is still at large.
