NYPD: 4 dead in Bensonhurst after brutal domestic attack

According to the New York Police Department, four family members, including two small children, are dead after a brutal attack in a Brooklyn apartment.

Police said they responded to a 911 call about a robbery at the West 8th Street apartment in Bensonhurst on Friday night. When they arrived shortly after 10 p.m., they found two young children and their mother and grandmother dead, with at least one victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Police arrested a 24-year-old man but did not release his name.

The NYPD identified the adult victims as Fayzieva Mavlyuda, 56, and Maftuna Khakimova, 27.

Kamila Shavkatova, 5, and Timur Shavkatov, 4, were also found dead, officials said.

All of the victims shared the same apartment in the building on West 8th Street near Avenue P.
