Police search for man accused of knocking woman unconscious to the ground in Parkchester

Police are asking for help in identifying a man who allegedly attacked a woman outside a library in Parkchester.

According to the NYPD, a 55-year-old woman was standing in front of the Parkchester Library when the suspect approached her from behind and pushed her to the ground. The woman lost consciousness after the push, police said.

She was taken to a nearby hospital where her condition is stable.
