Driver killed, two others injured in tractor accident

KATHMANDU, July 15: One person has died in a tractor accident in Kalikot. The accident occurred on Sunday evening when a tractor (Bhe 2 Ta 2692) heading towards Fukot skidded off the road and fell about 100 meters down the road near RCP Bazar, Raskot Municipality-5, Kalikot.

According to the Provincial Transport Department, three persons including the driver were injured in the accident. However, the driver succumbed to his injuries. The deceased was identified as Bir Pariyar, 27, a resident of Chingad Rural Municipality, Surkhet. The injured are being treated at Karnali Provincial Hospital, Kalagaon, Surkhet. Unfortunately, Pariyar passed away during treatment on Monday morning.

The injured have been identified as Parakash Tiruwa (22) and Nama Sarki (22). They are currently being treated at Karnali Provincial Hospital.
