Roseville man sentenced to 19 years in prison for sexually abusing teenagers | State

ROSEVILLE, California — Quincey Clark, 51, was sentenced to 19 years and four months in prison for sexually abusing two teenagers at the gym in his garage.

On July 8, 2024, the Honorable Judge Horst imposed sentence on Clark, who also received a lifetime registration under Section 290. A Placer County jury had previously found Clark guilty on April 25 on nineteen counts, including lewd acts upon a child, sexual assault by restraint, and forced oral sex.

The case involved Clark repeatedly assaulting underage victims while training them at his home wrestling studio. According to the Placer County District Attorney’s Office, the private wrestling lessons Clark offered quickly devolved into inappropriate massages in more than half of the sessions. The attacks were uncovered after interviews at the Placer County MDIC and Children’s Advocacy Center revealed that Clark had manipulated the victims under the guise of private training.

Clark instructed his victims not to tell their parents so he could continue training them. After an investigation by the Roseville, California City Police Department, the Placer County District Attorney’s Office filed several charges against Clark.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Daniele LaPointe of the office’s Sexual Assault Unit with assistance from the office’s Victim Services Unit.
