Man arrested after stabbing in Boston

A man was arrested Tuesday after a stabbing outside a Boston fire station in Back Bay, police said. Officers responded to the area of ​​352 Newbury St. shortly before 6 p.m. on a report of a fight. Dispatchers then reported a stabbing outside the Boston fire station a block away at 941 Boylston St., police said. Boston firefighters rendered aid to the victim while waiting for emergency services to arrive, police said. Another firefighter stopped the suspect and recovered a knife. Officers then arrested 64-year-old Kris Jennings, police said. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Police said Jennings has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
