Western New York State Braces for Impact of Hurricane Beryl

Residents of Western New York State will feel the effects of the first hurricane of the 2024 season later this week.

Hurricane Beryl has made landfall along the east coast of Texas and is expected to turn and track northeast, impacting much of the Midwest and western New York later this week.

When Hurricane Beryl reaches western New York, it will be downgraded to a tropical storm, but it will still bring plenty of rain to the 716.

The good news is that the rain should leave the region by late Wednesday evening and sunshine should return to western New York on Thursday.
