Drew McIntyre suspended indefinitely after money in the bank incident

After WWE Money In The Bank 2024, WWE top star Drew McIntyre was “suspended indefinitely.”

At the event, McIntyre won the men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match. He later cashed in his contract in the World Heavyweight Championship match between Damian Priest and Seth Rollins, becoming a triple threat.

However, CM Punk returned, ambushed McIntyre and cost him the title, which Priest was able to retain by pinning Drew.

After the show, McIntyre attacked officials and elbowed Raw General Manager Adam Pearce before Wade Barrett intervened.

On July 7, WWE released a video in which Pearce announced McIntyre’s fine and “indefinite suspension” for his behavior. In addition, both McIntyre and Punk were fined an “undisclosed amount.”

You can see Pearce’s announcement below.

While this announcement will make headlines, Pearce also made several announcements for the July 8 edition of WWE Raw.

He announced that The Awesome Truth and Braun Strowman will face Finn Balor, JD McDonagh and Carlito of The Judgment Day. Additionally, Liv Morgan will team with Dominik Mysterio against Zelina Vega and Rey Mysterio of the LWO.
