Police investigate murder in northwest Albuquerque

A homicide investigation is underway following the shooting of a man in northwest Albuquerque on Sunday. According to an Albuquerque Police spokesperson, the incident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. near the Days Inn in the 6000 block of Iliff Road NW. According to police, officers arrived at the scene and found a man with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
