Amber Alert in Vallejo after alleged child abduction by parents

An Amber Alert was issued for a newborn baby in Vallejo on Saturday morning after police said the baby was abducted by its mother.

The 2-week-old boy, Braxton Manning, is described as 22 inches long, 7 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Braxton’s 28-year-old mother, Valerie Manning, is white, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 175 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes.

The mother was last seen driving a black 1991 Isuzu Amigo with California license plate 2ZRD090, officials said.

Vallejo Police are assisting Solano County Child Protective Services in the search for the boy.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of the mother and baby to call 911 or 707-553-3285. 1991 Isuzu Amigo with California license plate 2ZRD090.
