Man settles rape case for teen and Howard student

As part of the agreement, Julien Everett will be sentenced to 20 to 25 years in prison.

WASHINGTON – Years after Howard University students reported their sexual assaults, the man who lured and raped them has pleaded guilty.

WUSA9 first reported on Julien Everett in 2019 after police said three teenage girls were given alcoholic drinks that the then 35-year-old man may have laced.

In 2019, authorities said the first victim was attacked in 2016 at age 17 after meeting Everett through an unofficial Facebook page for freshmen at Howard University.

On Thursday, Everett accepted a plea agreement to four counts of second-degree rape. Three of the victims were younger than 18 and two of them were students at Howard University.

As part of the agreement, Everett will be sentenced to 20 to 25 years in prison on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
