One dead and three injured in shooting at apartment in Asheville, North Carolina, officials say

Asheville police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead, two others sustained gunshot wounds and a fourth victim suffered “blunt force trauma.” Officers were called to an apartment complex on Livingston Street around 8 p.m. Monday. When they arrived, they found the four victims, officials said. One of the shot victims has died, officials said. Another victim is in critical condition and the third shooting victim is expected to survive, officials said. No information is yet available on the condition of the blunt force trauma victim. The name of the deceased victim has not been released. Officials said they have a suspect in custody but are still investigating what led to the shooting.
