Man dies in shooting at Greenville hotel

GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – One person was killed in a shooting that occurred at a Greenville hotel early Wednesday morning.

The shooting occurred shortly before 12:30 a.m. at the WoodSpring Suites on Orchard Park Drive.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office said 22-year-old Rogers Treyvond Robinson was shot at the hotel and taken to the hospital, where he died of his injuries.

His death was ruled a manslaughter.

Greenville police said they have identified a suspect and will release more information about his identity once charges are filed.
