Following his arrest for drunk driving on Long Island, “SexyBack” singer Justin Timberlake appeared in court for arraignment on Tuesday, June 18. He was subsequently released from police custody.

A source told PEOPLE that Timberlake was accompanied by a lawyer and two other people. He was handcuffed in the courtroom, “with his hands in front of his body” and wearing “a black bowling shirt, light jeans and white and light blue Air Force 1s.” during his appearance at a courthouse in Sag Harbor. After his arraignment, his handcuffs were removed.

A source told PEOPLE that Justin Timberlake was leaving dinner at the popular American Hotel in Sag Harbor when he was stopped by police. Timberlake was on his way to a friend’s house at the time.

The insider points out that “no one was injured” in the incident.

The American Hotel serves seafood such as Norwegian salmon fillet and fresh local flounder. The restaurant has an extensive wine list as well as other alcoholic beverages.

Singer Justin Timberlake was arraigned in Sag Harbor Village Court on the morning of June 18 on unspecified drunken driving charges.

The star is due back in court next month, on July 26, as part of his “Forget Tomorrow” world tour, which will make two stops in New York City next week.
