18-year-old Logan High School student killed in motorcycle crash in Vinton County

MCARTHUR, Ohio (WCMH) — An 18-year-old Logan County high school student was killed in a motorcycle crash in Vinton County Sunday afternoon.

NBC affiliate station WSAZ reported that Logan High School student Mason White was killed in the crash at about 4:30 p.m. on State Route 56 in Swan Township. WSAZ reported that the Ohio State Highway Patrol determined he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a mailbox and a ditch.

The Logan-Hocking School District said grief counseling services will be offered Monday and Tuesday. Monday’s services will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hopewell Health and Tuesday’s services will be at the Logan High School counseling center during the same hours.
