Police did not release the name of the other suspect, who was also arrested. He turned himself in, but police did not disclose what charges were filed against him.

The incident occurred around 9:25 a.m. on May 31, when a woman checking her luggage on the side of the road was knocked unconscious and hospitalized in critical condition. Givens and the other suspect are accused of getting into a fight with her in connection with a road rage incident, according to the LAPD.

“The two individuals collided with the elderly woman, causing her to fall to the ground and become unconscious,” the LAPD said in a written statement. “Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where she was admitted in critical condition. She has since been released from the hospital.”
