The Goldfield man accused of strangling, raping and assaulting his partner could be granted the strictest form of bail

A Goldfields man charged with 21 offenses after allegedly strangling, raping and assaulting his partner repeatedly at home could be granted the strictest form of bail in Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

The 48-year-old appeared in Kalgoorlie Magistrates Court this week and was charged with persistent family violence. In addition, he was charged with six counts of obstructing a person’s normal breathing by applying pressure to the neck, seven counts of aggravated assault and five counts of sexual penetration without consent.
