Traffic report for Cleveland: I-271 lane closed

CLEVELAND (WJW) – Due to construction, portions of the southbound express lanes of I-271 will be closed Friday evening.

According to a press release from the Ohio Department of Transportation, lanes will be closed between I-90 and Cedar Road.

They will close at 6pm on Friday and remain closed until the project is completed.

The aim of the project is to repair road surfaces.

Completion is planned for the end of June.
