More lawsuits filed in connection with food contamination at Hereford House

OLATHE, Kansas – Three more people have Lawsuits against Hereford House in the light of the prosecutors Charges against an employee for food contamination.

It happened at Hereford House in Leawood. The steakhouse is now facing a total of eight lawsuits.

According to recent complaints, customers became ill shortly after eating at the restaurant in April.

Leawood Police have received over 230 reports of customers becoming ill after eating at Leawood Hereford House between March 26 and April 25.

Jace Hanson, 21, worked at the restaurant last month.

A total of 33 charges are brought against him, including one charge of Contamination and manipulation of food and sexual crimes against children.

He is currently being held on $500,000 bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for July 10 at 1:15 p.m.
