Man arrested after allegedly setting fire to Cincinnati store

A man has been arrested and charged with arson of private property after allegedly setting a fire that damaged a Cincinnati business. According to the Cincinnati Fire Department, it happened just after midnight Monday at Bob’s Sunoco 8th Street Drive-Thru on W. Eighth Street in West Price Hill. The Cincinnati Fire Investigation Unit said the fire caused over $1,000 in damage to the west side business, which was closed at the time of the incident. Investigators say 36-year-old Robert Justice used a flammable liquid and an open flame to set the business’s rear garage door on fire. The fire extinguished itself and was discovered later Monday morning. Police arrested Justice on Monday. Units from the Cincinnati Fire Department and Cincinnati Police Department reported in with the investigation.

According to the Cincinnati Fire Investigation Unit, damage from the fire at the west side store, which was closed at the time of the incident, totaled more than $1,000.
