Construction Companies Donate Interactive Therapeutic Bedding to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — Volunteers from two metro area construction companies will visit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Hughes Spalding Hospital on Wednesday to deliver a special gift to child patients.

Volunteers from McCarthy Building Companies and JJ Russell & Company will provide hospitalized children with special bedding containing an interactive game board.

The sheets, Playtime Bed Sheets from Playtime Edventures, “promote fun, learning and cognitive development when patients experience extended hospital stays.” The sheets help promote feelings of happiness and provide comfort to children and their families during the healing process, according to a release from the construction companies.

“We wholeheartedly support families and children who face prolonged and unexpected hospital stays. We hope our contributions to these fun, interactive sheets can make their stay a little more comfortable, fun and less scary,” Paul Bryant. Vice President, External Affairs.
