Dickinson Police continue search for missing Keith Schmidt – The Dickinson Press

DICKINSON — Dickinson Police announced in a news release today that they are continuing their investigation into the disappearance of 53-year-old Keith Schmidt. Schmidt was last seen in Dickinson on May 20, and his family and friends reported his disappearance to police on May 29.

Searches of his home and the family farm revealed no signs of a crime or clues as to his whereabouts.

Investigators have searched his neighborhood and reviewed residents’ video surveillance cameras. They have also examined local businesses that Schmidt regularly visited, but no further clues have emerged since his disappearance.

Other clues were also searched for, including social media posts, but no significant results were obtained.

Keith Schmidt is described as 5’9″ tall, 135 pounds, with long brown hair and green eyes. Authorities are asking anyone with information that could help in the search for him to come forward.

Dickinson police are working with the Schmidt family, and law enforcement agencies nationwide are assisting in the search for Schmidt.
