Nahant Police Thank Citizens for Help in Hit-and-Run Accident

NAHANT – Nahant police have expressed their gratitude to two people who helped in a hit-and-run crash on the Causeway Friday afternoon.

As Lt. Shultz responded to the incident involving a resident’s vehicle, he received unexpected assistance from resident Michael Lewis and another individual.

Together they helped the driver change the tire, thus enabling a quicker resolution of the situation.

The department publicly thanked Lewis and his colleague for their selfless help and emphasized the importance of community support in emergency situations.

The details of the hit-and-run are still being investigated.
