Sokol Mênjesi, who was raped while on duty, is still intubated in the trauma hospital, but doctors are optimistic because the edema (swelling) in an area of ​​the brain has not increased. At least for the moment, no surgical intervention is being considered. However, the police have not yet tracked down the three people they are looking for.

According to the TIMS system, they are inside the country. The investigation team does not rule out that they left the country illegally.

The rape took place on May 29 in the former Bllok district of Tirana, just minutes after she left the little boy at the kindergarten.

One of the perpetrators who turned himself in, Dorian Alia, has admitted that Dritan Nano is the mastermind of the attack. The young man admitted that the violence was a warning to the 45-year-old lawyer to withdraw the case against Nano in order to get what he is entitled to in the court-acquired property in the Lake Towers.

Dritan Nano, on the other hand, denied being the initiator of the event and refused to cooperate with investigators, although they are convinced that he is the main organizer.

INVESTIGATIONS AND TESTS

The State Police say that the people involved in the brutal violence against the lawyer are not exponents of criminality in the country. They have not been previously convicted, although they have already been accused of very serious crimes for the act in which they were involved, such as attempted murder of high-ranking officials.

One of the perpetrators of the attack, who allegedly took the other three boys with him to develop the idea of ​​the group, denied having any intention of harming the victim, but asked him to withdraw the demand for possession of the property, which the person who commissioned and organized the violence against Sokol Mêngjesi had himself previously signed.

The police suspect that the three young men wanted may have gone abroad and used the border crossings to Kosovo to escape, although they are already wanted. Although the police in Tirana have mentioned the sum of 20,000 euros, there is still no trace of anyone providing precise information on their whereabouts, and even the police have not been able to find any trace in the TIMS system, which has enabled checks in some parts of the country. The family ties of the wanted persons have been discovered and the police are carrying out checks, but without any concrete information on their whereabouts.

It is now expected that the lawyer will wake up from intubation and perhaps then he will be able to talk about the circumstances and the last conversation he had with Dritan Nano about a month ago. Meanwhile, all cameras at the scene of the attack have been confiscated, the statements of some parents who were at the scene for the same reason that Sokol Mêngjesi was found near the kindergarten have been identified and are being recorded, as well as the family members of the young people who were involved in the crime.
