Xavier Restrepo hosts youth camp for South Florida

While June is a slow month for many athletes, some, like Xavier Restrepo, are hosting camps for Florida youth to help them get through the pandemic while also getting involved in the community.

This is Restrepo’s second annual youth football camp and he is very connected to the important South Florida community as it was vital to his development in the Hurricane program and his upbringing. His parents Ashley Padgett and Jamie Restrepo helped him with the camp, which helped the youth of the community work on special position drills that develop wide receivers.

As the star receiver approaches his final season with the Hurricanes while working with the community, he would like to continue this camp as he advances his career at the professional level and has plans to expand the camp for other aspiring athletes in the South Florida area where he grew up.
