House fire in Bensalem is being investigated

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — A house fire on Regina Avenue Tuesday morning is under investigation, fire officials said.

The Bensalem Township Fire Department said firefighters responded to a reported house fire in the 1100 block of Regina Avenue at 11:20 a.m. Tuesday.

Special Operations Unit 222 arrived within two minutes, reported heavy fire on one side of the single-family home, and established the Bensalem Squad.

Engine 222 arrived, established a water supply, and began operation with a 1.5-inch water line.

Chief 222 took command and commissioned Ladder 65, Rescue 16 and Squrt 44.

The fire was quickly brought under control. The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.

No injuries were reported.
