Victim identified after two-vehicle crash near Prattville

Autauga County – A two-vehicle crash that occurred around 1:13 p.m. on Monday, May 27, claimed the life of a Prattville man. David R. Carr, 62, was fatally injured when the 2011 Honda FCS600A Silver Wing motorcycle he was operating was struck by a 2022 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by Cameron J. Jarman, 24, of Honoraville.

Carr was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The accident occurred on Alabama 14 near the 148-mile marker, about two miles west of Prattville in Autauga County. No further information is available as the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division’s investigation is ongoing.
