Parker’s Prairie Man dies in tragic farm accident

Parkers Prairie, MN – On Tuesday afternoon (May 7) at approximately 1:25 p.m., the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a farm accident resulting in life-threatening injuries in rural Parkers Prairie.

According to officials, the 28-year-old victim was repairing a tillage machine with others when part of the machine fell on him, trapping him underneath.

Rescue attempts were unsuccessful and the victim died at the scene of the accident.

The sheriff’s office is withholding the victim’s name until his family is notified.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Parkers Prairie Fire Department and Parkers Prairie and North EMS.
