IMPD: 1 shot, killed on Indy’s near NW side

INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating after a person was shot in northwest Indy early Sunday morning.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 3600 block of West 30th Street shortly before 3 a.m. because a person had been shot.


When officers arrived, they found a male victim with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, but a police report indicates the victim died from his injuries.
