Medicaid Renewal Training Event Held in Houston

HOUSTON (KIAH) — In Texas, more than 20 million Medicaid enrollees, including 2.1 million Texans, have been unenrolled nationwide since states began determining eligibility after the emergency public health COVID-19.

Texas has the highest number of opt-outs in the country. Molina Healthcare of Texas will host a FREE event tomorrow in Houston that will provide resources on Medicaid insurance renewals. Attendees will also learn about available Medicaid plans, how to apply and update their contact information.

The event will take place tomorrow, May 8, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Impact Resource Center Food Pantry at 1712 Depelchin St., Houston, TX 77007.
