Miranda Cosgrove reflects on the horrific incident with a stalker who set himself on fire and shot himself in her garden

Miranda Cosgrove hasn’t felt safe in her own home in almost a decade, and after learning why, we don’t think we would either…

During an interview with hustle and bustle published on Friday, the iCarly After a horrific incident on her property, Star opened up about her living situation. Years ago, a man who had been stalking the 30-year-old camped near her home and opened fire on a passing woman who reportedly looked like Miranda. In the end, the woman was fine, but the message she sent would have been enough to scar Miranda for life… But the stalker later did something so frightening that the Nickelodeon Star is still trying to recover eight years later.

In a final act in 2016, the man entered Miranda’s garden, set himself on fire and then fatally shot himself.

HOLY S**T!

And for this reason the School of Rock Since then, Star simply no longer sees her home as a safe place. She told the outlet:

“That’s another reason why I go to my parents’ house so often. I just don’t feel particularly safe in this house. I wouldn’t really stay there for two years after it happened. Then I got into a relationship and because that person was with me, I was less afraid. But I don’t really like being there alone.”

Uhhh, yeah, we don’t blame her at all!

She noted that a “big goal” since turning 30 last year has been to find a new place where she can feel “really safe” and “start a new chapter,” but that’s easy not happened yet. However, she met the doppelganger who the stalker shot at a kitten rescue event years later:

“This girl came up to me and said, ‘I didn’t know if I should tell you this or how to say it, but I’m actually the girl who was at your house and got shot.’

And in the end, the two had more in common than just their physical appearance – such as the way they handled the situation. Miranda continued:

“She seemed to process things in a similar way to me. She said she had just gone through a breakup the night before and was going to her friend’s house because she was so distraught. When they took her to the Hollywood police station to ask what he looked like and how everything happened, the investigators said, “Start from the beginning. ‘What happened?’ And she said, ‘He broke up with me last night,’ and started telling them all about their breakup.”

What a traumatizing experience… We really hope that Miranda finds a comfortable new home where she can feel safe and secure.
