Man Arrested on Robbery Probation for Riding Dirt Bike at Night Without Headlights | MyStateline

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) – Janesville Police arrested 20-year-old Braxton Whitfield on a probation warrant after he allegedly fled from police Friday night.

According to authorities, Whitfield was driving without headlights and on the roadway around 11 p.m


When an officer tried to stop him, he sped away and “drove recklessly through the community,” police said.

Police continued, “The dirt bike continued to flee, driving recklessly away from the officers even though they did not attempt to stop it.”

Whitfield was later arrested in the 1300 block of Mineral Point Avenue.

In addition to the probation order stemming from a previous robbery and carjacking, he is also charged with escape. He is being held in the Rock County Jail.
